congrats to a lovely couple that will soon leave the northwest to settle down in texas. texas! the sun blazed down onto a private residence that overlooked a beautiful bay in stanwood, washington - it couldn't have been a more perfect day. i love how vibrant the sunflower bouquets the bridesmaids dresses were, and the dresses even had pockets! local southern style caterers grilled up some awesome ribs and chicken, and they made the best potato salad i've ever had - their secret is apparently deep fried bacon...yum!

micah and olivia's strong faith in god shone through in every guest at the wedding. her father did his best not to cry, but couldn't hold back a few tears and so lost a bet to his niece. within all the pages of writing he had prepared, he had selected my favorite bible verse:

Ephesians 1:17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit[a] of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.
